Description
The IMPA 370303 sounding rod is 100cm long and 6-folded. It is made of steel and is metric & inch. This sounding rod is intended for use in measuring the depth of water in a ship's hold. It is also used to measure the draft of a ship. The sounding rod has a handle on one end and a point on the other end. The handle is used to hold the sounding rod while the point is used to touch the bottom of the ship's hold. The sounding rod is graduated in feet and inches.
