Grease Nipples

Grease nipples are small fittings that are used to deliver lubricant, typically grease, to a mechanical component. They consist of a metal cap that fits onto the end of a grease gun and a hollow body that contains a spring-loaded valve. The valve opens when a grease gun is connected to the grease nipple, allowing the grease to be forced into the component. Grease nipples are commonly found in automotive, industrial, and agricultural applications and are used to lubricate bearings, gears, and other moving parts that require regular lubrication to operate smoothly and prevent wear. They are also commonly referred to as grease fittings or grease zerks.
