Description

This a set of 3 hand taps with a British Standard Whitworth (BSW) thread of 3/32" x 48. It is made of high-speed steel (HSS) and has a bright finish. The set includes a taper tap, a plug tap, and a bottom tap. The taper tap is for starting the thread and is tapered at the end to ease starting the thread. The plug tap is for continuing the thread and has a parallel sides. The bottom tap is for finishing the thread and has a slightly smaller diameter than the plug tap. This set is for creating threads in through holes.
